I can no longer have cranberries, so I decided to try something new for a similar sauce for Thanksgiving. It came out wonderfully, but it isn't very tart. If you're looking for tart, I would replace the grape juice with SCD legal tart cherry juice and reduce the pears by 2. I would likely also … Continue reading Cherry Pear Sauce (Thanksgiving)
The inspiration for this sauce comes from duck sauce. It's not quite the same, but it does give you the sweet compliment to spicy mustard. I think that a proper duck sauce could be made using apricots and oranges in some fashion. Unfortunately, I cannot eat apricots.
I really needed protein to help with a little mini-flare (super mild) and was craving some authentic fried meatballs. I also didn't want to introduce eggs again while flaring as I am a tad reactive to them (higher end of the LEAP scale). I decided to try it with banana and it worked great! I'll … Continue reading Eggless Baked Meatballs
A delicious frozen treat that tastes just like vanilla ice cream. You can sub out 1 or both bananas for mango, pineapple, or avocado and get similar results (simply slice the bananas into a measuring cup to determine how much to replace for or go by weight). Let me know if you tweak the recipe … Continue reading Banana Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
I felt like creating something original today. I think it could still be better, but it definitely hit the spot. Right now I am not sure I can have honey, so I've been playing around with baking using fruit as the only sweetener. Hopefully, if my love affair with honey must come to an end, … Continue reading Nutty Banana Breakfast Bars
In a press release on 7/28/17, the FDA continued to demonize nicotine as a product requiring their immediate attention and regulatory action. This is despite research into the positive effects the chemical has on both cognitive andB physiological functions of the human body. I personally question anything and everything the FDA does because they're certainly … Continue reading The FDA’s War on Nicotine

She was looking for a sword.[/blockquote] Today I had a flex sig that was scheduled sometime in September in the hopes of revealing mucousal healing. My labs in August indicated that I was doing well, so we agreed to take a look to prove that. I … Continue reading Flex Sig Update

I made these cookies because I am still on the LEAP program and I am limited as to what ingredients I can use to create things. I haven't had a baked good in a while and I made chocolate chip cookies for some guests later. I want to enjoy a snack as well, so I … Continue reading Banana Coconut Pecan Cookies (3 Ingredients)
I decided to try out my new dehydrator this weekend. Aside from some simple fruit leather in mango and raspberry flavors, I came up with this delightful recipe. Enjoy!
